چکیده
The new combination Stereocaulon plicatile (Leight.) Fryday & Coppins is made for a previously enigmatic crustose lichen with submuriform ascospores; the basionym, Lecidea plicatilis Leight., was previously misapplied to a norsticticacid containing species of Rhizocarpon. The systematic position of the crustose Stereocaulon leucophaeopsis group is discussed. ? 1996 The British Lichen Society

متن کاملMortality rates from cryptogenic fibrosing alveolitis in seven countries.
BACKGROUND Registered mortality from cryptogenic fibrosing alveolitis (CFA) in England and Wales has increased substantially since the specific International Classification of Diseases code for CFA was introduced in 1979. However, since a significant proportion of deaths from CFA are misclassified as post inflammatory fibrosis (PIF), it is possible that the observed rise in CFA mortality is due...
متن کاملPatterns of mortality by occupation in the UK, 1991–2011: a comparative analysis of linked census and mortality records
Background Detailed assessments of mortality by occupation are scarce. Methods We analysed adults of working age (20-59 years) using linked census and death records. Main occupation was coded into more than 60 groups in the 2001 census, with mor...
